Did you get into a fight with an old man and his wife that ended with you painting anuses on their paintings?

You know of any good car meets/clubs in Denver? I just moved out here but the only one I've found seemed like too much of hooligans.

Sounds like you found Nationwide. What's your ride? I'm part of the Colorado BMW Groupe, which is a pretty good group, but Denver has a good car scene. Cars & Coffee up in Lafayette every first Sat of the month, 2 local tracks (High Plains Raceway and Pueblo Motorsports).

Yeah, I want to shoot some more spots up there. I just kind of stumbled across the place.

Nationwide is the group I found/saw, they must have a big reputation. I have a Focus ST. I won't be tracking it, but may be at High Plains for some other stuff. Lafayette isn't far, I'll have to go check it out in February.

Hey, we can meet up if you like at Lafayette. I'll plan to be there in Feb. Yes, Nationwide has a good reputation for stupid stuff, I'm an old fogey so no time for that foolishness.

If you see a Black FoST with a Save the Manuals sticker in the rear window, that's me. I'll wear my Gulf colors Oppo shirt too. I may have a roof rack and/or rally style lights in the front on, but they may stay off the car for awhile.

No, I was in the neighborhood on 6th near Paddock Imports (great indy BMW mechanic, and my mechanic). If you know of any other great spots, I'd love to hear.

Under-rated car.

The last BMW M/// sports car coupe with a naturally-aspirated free-revving Motorsport inline-6.

In gorgeous Monte Carlo Blue to boot...

This is the latest BMW car I would buy, especially as performance models go, before they got even more overly complex, and bewilderingly dense (heavier than their outward size would suggest).

The drivetrain goodness of the E46 M3, with less weight, and better dynamics, and a sleeker body. A bit of Bangle oddness to the lines, but overall, a classic profile. The last in a line of sports car coupes the likes of Jaguar E-type, Triumph GT6, MGC-GT, Toyota 2000GT, the classic Nissan Z, early Mercedes Benz SL, all 2-seat, hard-top, RWD, front-engined, inline-6 sports cars.

Aside from swapping for some Style 69 staggered-width 18" wheels, and maybe some black-trimmed headlights, the car needs nothing else.

Close, Interlagos Blue

Interlagos blue is just as beautiful, and nicely mysterious, subtle, and sophisticated with the darkened windows.

Hyper-black/black chrome finished wheels would look great, not that the existing wheels look bad in any way.

My FoST is at the body shop (warranty work) so I won't be driving it. I'll either be riding along with someone in their orange Fahrenheit GTI or my rental Corolla. Still will be in a gulf colored Oppo shirt. Is it at 95th and Arapahoe like the map on Facebook?

Haha, I saw your car I believe but didn't see anyone around it. It's baby blue with the orange Oppo logo. I'm early 20's, shoulda mentioned that. That was a nice big C&C, lots of cool cars. Thanks for suggesting it. I was surprised how many GT3's there were. It was like they were Civics.
